This intensive course aims at providing participants with tools to improve communication in real life situations.
 
We apply the fide approach that relies on action and communication-based methods through the use of specific study themes.
 
The learning process and activities are directed at real-life social, cultural, and professional situations. They are based on the real needs the participants face on a day-to-day basis, including how to prepare for FIDE exams.

The overall aim is to develop French language skills for social integration. According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for levels A1 - A2, the level of linguistic competence requirements are as follows :

Basic User A1 level:

• Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
• Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Basic User A2 level:

• Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
• Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
• Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Public

This course is designed for people with a migratory background who need intensive courses to prepare for the FIDE exam, in connection with the following procedures:

• Citizenship
• Residence Permit B and Settlement Permit C
• Entrance Level A0 – A1 and Target Level A1 – A

Teachers

Our teachers are specifically qualified in French language training and migrant integration in Switzerland. They are experienced practitioners with proven pedagogical methods and they have the best tools at their disposal.
They are also experienced in highly participative classroom facilitation according to FIDE principles and practice scenario-based teaching on a daily basis

Online classes from home with the Zoom application.

Quarterly registration (11 weeks) = 990 CHF per person
Monthly registration = 400 CHF per person
